A Family's Fight for Survival, Safety,and Dignity

My name is Mohammad, and I never imagined I’d be sharing our story this way. My family and I are going through the most painful and uncertain time of our lives.

We’ve lost everything—our source of income, our home, and the ability to live with dignity. My brother Alaa was recently detained for 25 days under brutal conditions, leaving him with a severe foot injury that needed surgery. After his release, we were torn apart, and he still hasn’t been able to return to us.

Our beloved father, Ihsan, was killed while trying to get basic supplies for our family. We never got the chance to say goodbye.

Now, my mother Nujoud (49), my brothers Iyad (30), Amr (26), Alaa (29) and I (19) are displaced and fighting daily just to survive. We’re doing everything we can, but the struggle is overwhelming.
