Hi friends,
A lot has happened in the world over the past few years. For me, one of those things is my marriage coming to an end and the beginning of my journey into sobriety. I have been on a healing journey and process over the last year which included 60 days in rehabilitation for alcoholism and a period of time living in a sober living environment. I am extremely proud and grateful to say that I have been sober for almost 16 months. During my transition back into normal living, I have had to start life completely over, from finding a job, to a stable living situation. It has been the most painful and yet rewarding season of my life.
I am now entering a time where I will be moving into an apartment on my own and creating a new home and space for our kids.
This Gofund me is primarily for my amazing children. They deserve the very best and I am wanting to create a home environment for them that feels happy, fun, safe and beautiful. I will be needing to completely furnish a 2 bedroom apartment. My needs are for a queen size bed, a bunk bed, mattresses, a kitchen table set, lamps, tv, and all other home essentials. This fundraiser is to acquire those things and help with moving costs and expenses. I do have other personal needs as well, but priority right now is being able to create a peaceful and lovely home for myself and my children. If you know me personally and would like to hear more about my story, please private message me on Facebook and I would love to share more with you.
I deeply appreciate your prayers and encouragement during this time. It’s been a journey and as I embark on this new life and adventure and I would love to invite you to be a part of it. I am in the process of creating an Amazon wish list as well, so if you would prefer to support me that way, let me know and I can send you more information.
Thank you with all my heart for those of you who know me and have believed in me and never wavered over these past several months. The depth of your love and commitment to me has shown me what God’s love looks like. You’ll never know how much it has meant and the strength you added to me. I’m forever grateful.
