Anyone who knows this lovely young couple knows they are deserving of a child. Coach Eric is so wonderful with his swimmers, it's easy to see what a caring father he will make. Brittany's sweetness and positivity is infectious and her new child will definitely grow up in a loving home. Adoption isn't free and this fund will help them focus on the new addition to their family instead of worrying about finances for years to come. #raceforthepadenbaby
Below is their heartbreaking story of trying to concieve that will have a happy ending with adoption and your help.
We've been trying to start a family for almost 4 years now. In the beginning we got pregnant pretty quickly and were so excited to start the journey but the joy was short lived as I suffered a miscarriage very soon after we found out. We went through a mourning period but had hope that we would be able to try and have success again. Less than year and a half later we found out I was pregnant again. Although we tried to remain cautious with our emotions we were both so excited at this second chance, but once again that hope and love was ripped from us just like the first. This one hit us even harder than the first one and had us both spiraling for some time in grief. It was then that we found out that I have PCOS making pregnancy extremely difficult for us. It's been a year and half since then and we have been unable to conceive again. Adoption has always been something we wanted to do eventually as I (Brittany) am adopted and would not be where I am today had I not been. We just always thought it would our second child we would adopt. When we first started looking into adoption we were extremely discouraged by the financial aspect of it, we thought we would never be able to have a family of our own. Through the love and support of our friends and families we've realized that there is no cost too high to have a child of our own. Family is the most important thing to us and we are willing to do whatever it takes to have a little Paden to take home.
