I lost my mum unexpectedly on Christmas Eve 2025 to AML (she nor us had any idea what she was battling). We were both born with cleft lip and palate; CLAPA have been a huge support to my parents having a baby with a cleft lip and they have (and continue to) supported me throughout my life through numerous operations and psychological support.

Mum was the most beautiful and amazing person; my best friend. I’m doing this in her honour to show her what an impact she made; she taught me to be brave, fearless and make the most of life.

Thanks to ChatGPT for making my makeup look 10/10 on a skydive but I can safely say I won’t look that put together on the actual day sadly lol.
