Jamie’s Legacy

In June 2020, we tragically lost our youngest son Jamie at just 16years old. In his memory Jamie’s Legacy was set up to support a children’s charity in the poverty stricken slums of Uganda. Our aim is a simple one…to provide a child a better life and to make them smile.

Education is the only hope for a child to work their way out of the slums but sadly so many families are just trying to survive and unable to pay school fees. Jamie’s Legacy already sponsors over 60 children providing them with life changing opportunities.

in addition, Jamie’s Legacy also provides life’s essentials to families such as the installation of fresh water pipes, support towards starting their own stalls to support their own families, training, mattresses & bedding, mosquito nets, clothing etc

We are also now collaborating with Helping Ugandan Schools (HUGS) to have a new boarding school built that will open in February 2025.

it costs £200 a year to enable a child to attend school to gain an education & daily meals. Please contact us if you are interested.
