Tied Together – A Journey of Strength, Support, and Love

Hi everyone, and welcome to Tied Together a heartfelt fundraising campaign where myself, Joshua Renhard, and my close friend Luke Hackett, are taking on an incredible challenge to raise money for two charities that mean so much to us.

We’re both proud Birmingham lads, shaped by life’s highs and lows just like everyone else. We’ve seen how unpredictable life can be, but through it all, what’s left a lasting impression, is the strength of people who smile through the storm, and those who radiate hope even when life throws the unthinkable their way.

For me, that inspiration is Hannah Roberts Celik, a beautiful person, a loving mum to two gorgeous girls, and someone who continues to shine while facing breast cancer head-on. Her courage and positivity sparked this journey. After speaking with her, we chose to support Help Harry Help Others, a Birmingham-based charity that offers life-changing counselling and emotional support to adults and children affected by cancer. I’ve lived through cancer in my own family, I’ve seen the pain it causes and the silent battles families fight. No one should have to face that alone.

Luke is walking this path for someone truly remarkable - Tom Davies, a lifelong friend whose heart, selfless attitude, and passion for helping others and the planet have always stood out.

His spirit shines with everything he does; Tom now faces the challenges of Motor Neurone Disease with that same unshakable determination.

Luke is raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, who provide vital support and fund critical research into this illness.

To honour the people who inspire us, we’ll be taking on the UK’s Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in under 24 hours. But with a slight twist, as we'll be physically tied together at the wrist. It's our way of showing that in the toughest moments, no one should ever feel alone.

This campaign is about more than mountains. It’s about connection, resilience, and the belief that when we stand together, we can overcome anything.
