Support a Father Fighting for His Daughter's Safety
Donation protected
I have recently been informed that I have a daughter back home that is now 10 years old. This all came about through a simple DNA testing with ancestry.com, however her existence had been made a secret for all these years. Her mother unfortunately passed away 2 years ago, and my daughter's situation has only declined. While there are those around her that love her deeply, there's only so much they can legally do. The man that signed my daughter's birth certificate is nowhere close to being a model citizen let alone someone you'd ever consider a father figure. Aside from witnessing her mother's own death, she has been subjected to drug use, excessive amounts of alcohol, and severe bouts of domestic violence. The list goes on. If it wasn't her "dad" doing these things it was his mother. She's just as bad. This guy is actually in rehab as we speak. Unfortunately he can check himself out at anytime, grab my little girl and run. He's done it before. This is another example of our justice system hard at work because nothing has been done at all to remove this man or his mother from her life. Had I known of her existence I would have done something long ago. What I'm trying to do is establish paternity so I can go for full custody. I will also be seeking major counseling for my daughter, as well as making her aunt and uncle legal guardians. There has been so much trauma done to this little girl, me getting custody and removing her completely from her life she knows will just further the damage. That's where the aunt and uncle come in. It's going to be a very slow and delicate process. This little girl has so much love to give and it breaks my heart that she's had to endure what she has. Needless to say I need an attorney. I need someone to navigate the law and get everything I need to keep my little girl safe. I simply cant do it on my own. I do ok in providing for my family, I just don't have the funds it takes for an attorney. I don't know what else to do. If all you can offer are positive thoughts and prayers, I'll take those as well. Any donations not used will be placed into an account for my daughter's continued counseling and education. This is all for her.
Thank you.
