6th Class Christmas Charity CD - StVincent De Paul
Donation protected
The 6th class students in St. Patrick's National School, Slane, Co.Meath have been working hard over the past few weeks in preparation for recording their Christmas charity single.
They chose to record the Band Aid classic "Do They Know Its Christmas", which is an excellent choice for this cause.
The school holds a yearly collection for St.Vincent de Paul at Christmastime, gathering food items for families in need in the locality and surrounding area at Christmas time.
This charity single is 6th class' effort to push the fundraising above and beyond that of previous years as they hope to raise money for families in need this Christmas.
They have recorded the CD, providing vocals, drums, bass, guitars etc. to the track making it a masterpiece they can be proud of. They are set to sell their CDs at their Christmas concerts next week, with all proceeds going to St. Vincent de Paul.
However, we feel it is next to impossible to get the physical discs out to everyone, so we wanted to offer people the chance to donate to this worthy cause online if they felt inclined.
This money would go to such great use this Christmas providing food, warmth and comfort for families in need over the holiday period.
The full music video will be available to watch on the school website www.slanens.ie from next Wednesday.
We would be so grateful for your support!
Happy Christmas!
