Hello, my name is Jeffrey, also known as DJ J Fresh. I was born in New Jersey but raised in Palm Beach, Florida. Growing up as a kid, there were times we wished we could go out and play. Sometimes our parents weren't able to afford or have time to do things as we got older, especially during holidays due to unsafe environments.

"Kids Day Out" is a unique event dedicated to kids of all ages, giving them free space to have fun and no worries in a safe environment, as well as giving back to the community and creating a bond between different races and ethnic groups, breaking barriers against racism.

How did this start? Well, me and 2 other friends at that time wanted to do something different than throwing parties in the year 2019. We wanted to make an impact in the community in a different way. Then the idea for a kids' event for Easter came to mind. Our first event was successful, and we got a lot of positive feedback, which was amazing, and we enjoyed seeing all the kids and parents having fun. So we decided to continue this event.

The following year, COVID came along, and we weren't fortunate to do it earlier that year. Later that year, we were asked if we would do it once more before the year ended. I, at that time, was not able to help put together Kids Day Out but urged my other 2 friends to continue. Although they tried, life got in the way, and in 2020 there was no "Kids Day Out."

Then 2021 came along, and I was asked about it once more and was getting asked about the event almost every week since the new year started. I decided to take it upon myself to continue the legacy of "Kids Day Out" on my own. Although the success of the event is growing, the financial burden does as well. As a result, 2024 was announced as the last "Kids Day Out" event due to some unforeseen circumstances that came along the way.

As 2025 approached, I was asked about "Kids Day Out" and its return, and I told those who asked that I would no longer be doing this event. But I kept hearing God speak to me about the promise I made to Him 2 years prior. After prayer and thinking, God kept bringing people along my path consistently asking about the event and asking to help. I then realized that "KIDS DAY OUT" is bigger than just me. I then promised myself, the children, and God that I will do all I can to continue this beautiful and exciting event as long as I am breathing. But with this event growing and growing each and every year, the financial struggle increases.

I do not want to let the kids or the community down, so having donations and/or your help will help push and continue this legacy that I want to push to the world. So as we continue this tradition, your help is greatly appreciated.
