Hi all!

Welcome to the fundraising page for our 6th annual holiday drive! We've been raising money for the past 5 years to purchase toys, clothes, shoes, hats/gloves, winter coats, grocery store gift cards, blankets/pillows, and other essentials for our families in need during the holiday season. Last year we were able to raise just over $7000 to support approximately 70 students and their families across 2 schools, as well as a local church and homeless shelter.

Every year this fundraiser has grown more than we ever thought possible, and we are continually trying to find ways to expand our reach and help more families. This year, our goal is to support families in need at 3 CPS schools on the south side of Chicago. Two of our schools are over 80% low-income with a 2-4% homeless population, and the third is 99% low-income with a 33% homeless population. If we have money left over, we hope to support a fourth school in need of hygiene products for their middle school students.

Since we continue to expand and grow, we are aiming to become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit this year. In the future, our goal is to continue to help families and students in need and support community centers in these neighborhoods. The community centers are safe spaces for the children to play and socialize, but they often lack basic resources. This holiday season, we are lucky enough to be able to focus our resources on four schools in need.

Every year we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends, family, and strangers. It has made an amazing impact on the families, and we hope to continue spreading your generosity with each holiday season.
