¡Hola queridas amistades y personas solidarias! Somos tres hermanos palestinos (Moha, Mota y Monta) y estamos haciendo esta recaudación de fondos para pediros que nos ayudéis con los gastos de viaje y de los primeros meses de mi familia fuera de Palestina, a quienes les han concedido la reagrupación familiar. Como sabéis, la situación en la Cisjordania ocupada (Palestina), es cada día más insostenible. Tras octubre de 2023, mi padre (quien en gran parte sostenía económicamente los gastos de casa) se quedó sin trabajo y los tres hermanos que estamos fuera del país tuvimos que hacernos totalmente cargo de los gastos. Hemos llegado a un punto en el que económicamente nos está costando mucho poder continuar, porque nuestra familia es bastante grande y el nivel de vida en toda Palestina está subiendo como la espuma. Es difícil poder comprar alimentos por el toque de queda continuo, y cuando se puede, el precio es desorbitado. El nivel de vida en Cisjordania es bastante mayor que aquí. ¿Te imaginas cómo sostener a una familia sin ingresos en un lugar donde todo es exageradamente caro? En noviembre de 2024 conseguimos traer a nuestra hermana pequeña a estudiar y sólo las gestiones del visado y requisitos para que se lo concedieran nos costaron más de 5.000€. Cada vez tenemos más gastos y nos es más difícil poder hacerles frente. El bloqueo en Cisjordania ha elevado los precios y mi padre, quien era el único miembro de la familia allí que aportaba ingesos, lleva más de un año y medio sin trabajar. Ello, sumado a la incertidumbre que sufre nuestra ciudad, debido a las continuas redadas del ejército de ocupación, han hecho que nos embarquemos en la complicada, pero necesaria aventura de traer a la familia hasta aquí, pues ya no sólo se trata de una cuestión económica, sino también de seguridad. El ejército ha asaltado nuestra casa en numerosas ocasiones en el último mes y varios miembros de mi familia han sido arrestados y secuestrados. Sólo es cuestión de tiempo que les ocurra lo mismo al resto de mi familia. Por ello, decidimos solicitar la reagrupación familiar para que vengan aquí. Sin vuestra ayuda, los gastos del viaje y derivados de los primeros meses en el Estado español, van a ser imposibles de cubrir. Os agradecemos muchísimo vuestra ayuda e implicación. We are Moha, Mota and Monta and we are doing this fundraiser so that you can help us with the travel expenses and the first 6 months of my family outside Palestine, who have been granted the family extension. As you know, the situation in the occupied West Bank (Palestine) is becoming more unsustainable every day. After October 2023, my father (who largely supported the household expenses) lost his job and the three brothers who are outside the country had to take full care of the expenses. We have reached a point where it is costing us a lot financially to continue, because our family is quite large and the standard of living throughout Palestine is skyrocketing. It is difficult to buy food because of the continuous curfew, and when you can, the price is exorbitant. The standard of living in the West Bank is much higher than here. Can you imagine how to support a family without income in a place where everything is more expensive than here? In November 2024 we managed to bring our little sister to study and just the visa procedures and requirements to get one cost us more than €5,000. We have more and more expenses and it is more difficult for us to cope with them. The blockade in the West Bank has raised prices and my father, who was the only one there who brought in income, has been out of work for more than a year and a half. This, added to the uncertainty that our city is suffering, due to the continuous raids by the occupying army, has made us embark on the complicated but necessary adventure of bringing the family here, as it is no longer just an economic issue, but also a security issue. The army has raided our house on numerous occasions in the last month and several members of my family have been arrested and kidnapped. It is only a matter of time before the same thing happens to the rest of my family. Therefore, we decided to apply for family reunification/extension so that they can come here. Without your help, the costs of the trip and those arising from the first few months in Spain will be impossible to cover. We are very grateful for your help and involvement.
