Apoyo para mí y mis hijos
Mi nombre es María Huezo y soy madre de cuatro maravillosos hijos de 4, 7, 14 y 16 años. Nunca pensé que estaría en una situación donde tendría que pedir ayuda, pero hoy me encuentro enfrentando uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida y necesito el apoyo de mi comunidad.
El 13 de marzo, fui llevada de emergencia al hospital tras presentar graves problemas de salud. Sufrí un derrame cerebral y luego los médicos encontraron líquido alrededor de mi cerebro y mi columna. Desde ese día he permanecido hospitalizada mientras los doctores continúan haciéndome estudios, monitoreándome y tratando de entender por qué mis síntomas siguen apareciendo.
Estar lejos de mis hijos ha sido lo más doloroso. Me extrañan muchísimo y duele no poder cuidarlos como siempre lo he hecho. Mis niños más pequeños están al cuidado de una niñera, pero los gastos han aumentado rápidamente, especialmente porque no puedo trabajar mientras estoy hospitalizada.
Por eso hoy les pido su apoyo. Cualquier ayuda me permitirá mantener estabilidad para mis hijos y enfocarme en mi recuperación. Las donaciones me ayudarán a cubrir:
- Niñera y cuidado de los niños menores
- Pago de renta y gastos esenciales del hogar
- Gastos médicos y hospitalarios que no están totalmente cubiertos

Support for My Children and Me
My name is Maria Huezo, and I am a mother of four wonderful children, ages 4, 7, 14, and 16. I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but today I am humbly reaching out during one of the hardest moments of my life.
On March 13th, I was rushed to the hospital after experiencing serious health issues. I suffered a stroke, and doctors later found fluid around my brain and spine. I have been in the hospital ever since, as my medical team continues to monitor me, run tests, and try to understand why my symptoms keep returning.
Being away from my children has been the most painful part. They miss me deeply, and not being able to care for them the way I normally do breaks my heart. My younger children are currently with a babysitter, but the costs are adding up quickly, especially since I am unable to work while hospitalized.
I am asking for support to help me keep my home stable and ensure my children are taken care of while I focus on recovering. Donations will help me pay for:
- Babysitting and childcare for my little ones
- Rent and essential household bills
- Hospital and medical expenses not fully covered
