Raising money for Homelessness

Donation protected
I am excited to announce an upcoming charity event that takes inspiration from the work of @neddbrockmann. Aptly titled Run With Me, we aim to raise money for @wearemobilise, an ACNC-registered charity that aims to combat the issue of homelessness across Australia.

The event will run as follows:
We will coordinate a lapathon over 6 hours around Mills Park in Beckenham.
Participants can set a challenge for themselves and are encouraged to raise money through friends and family sponsors to complete this challenge.
This could be as simple as your family donating $5 a lap, or your best mate donating $100 for walking 10kms in that time. Or even just having your grandma give you a flat $50, any and all donations are helpful. Remember, you don’t have to walk to help.
This money will be raised through We Are Mobilise's Go Fund Me page, we are aiming to raise $100,000 for the charity.

Donation pages will be released soon and stay tuned for more information.

If Nedd’s run has taught us anything, it is that we are more capable than we realise, which is why I encourage each of us to challenge ourselves. To lead by example, I have decided to challenge myself to run a marathon in the given time. Now I’m not asking you to run a marathon by any means, however, I do highly encourage you to push yourself further than previously. Whether it’s 3km to 5km, 5km to 10km, or 10 km to 20km, all we ask is that you get out of your comfort zone.
