Hi everyone,

My name is Eddie Suarez, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart, hoping for your support. My wife and I have been married for over a year and a half, and we have a beautiful one-year-old child. I was born and raised in New York, and now we live in Tennessee, where my career as a chef has taken us.

My wife has been in the U.S. for 14 years under temporary asylum status after leaving Venezuela. With the recent changes in immigration laws, we’re deeply worried about the possibility of our family being separated. The uncertainty is overwhelming, and we’re doing everything we can to ensure that she can remain here, where she belongs with us.

We are raising funds to cover the legal costs needed to secure my wife’s permanent residency. Immigration lawyers, applications, and the necessary legal processes come with high costs, and as a hardworking family, we’re doing our best to prepare for what’s ahead.
