Help Furloughed Daycare Teachers

Hello, I am part of group of parents effected by the government shutdown who are looking to raise money for the daycare teachers from our NASA center who cannot work. Most of us are furloughed ourselves and have been reaching out to people in our community in the Hampton Roads Virginia area to help with the teachers. We have been keeping a running list of the need requests from the teachers and it includes basic necessitates (food), power bill payments, and partial rent payments. Some of the teachers prioritized paying their rents and have been going without food as a result. The teachers have a needs list of $3500 and growing. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
