Help for Travis

Donation protected
Update- Travis declined much more rapidly than we or his doctors were expecting. In a span of about 3 weeks he went from getting around and functioning a fairly normal life to not being able to do anything for himself. It is frustrating for him but he is such a trooper. With the donations we have received so far we have been able to get him an electric recliner that he can control. He is not able to get in the bathroom and has to have sponge baths but with such wonderful people donating we got him a bathtub he can be in right in his bed. We have been able to purchase things that allow him to maintain some sort of normalcy. We all take baths and showers for granted ... and then you lose that ability.... everyday is different and we live moment to moment. Some days are good many not so much. This disease has taken so much from him. Every day we discover another item that may help him such as wedge pillows so he can do something as simple as sleep on his side. Thank you everyone that has donated. Please share this so at least those angels can see this update and know how their donation has impacted his and our lives.

Travis was diagnosed with brain cancer at 16 years old. He completed 6 weeks of radiation and a full year of chemo. For the last 3 years he has been doing great and has been stable. He got his license  and a car. A full time job and was doing great.  Then he started to not feel well. He suffered bad headaches and lost a lot of time at work until he finally had to quit. On September 28, 2020 he had a seizure thats when we learned that there were changes showing on his latest MRI. 12 days later he had another. They ran another scan 2 weeks later and saw even more changes. He has to go in for a biopsy to find out if it is radiation effects or a recurrence of the cancer. Right now he is unable to work, can not drive, can not be left alone per his Oncologist and neurologist until we can find out what is happening and get the seizure meds right. He had another seizure today and they upped his meds. He is struggling with depression as one can only imagine being a 20 year old and unable to do anything. We are paying for his housing and food and such and his insurance pays his medical bills. He was approved for disability however a check will not arrive until either December or January. He needs a little help paying his phone bill and a couple other small bills and I, his mother, am asking for a little help to purchase some things for him to do such as video games, crossword puzzles or whatever he would like. I am afraid the depression may get worse and i am hoping to help with that. He is currently in pain in his joints and muscles due to taking steroids which help the headaches... go figure right! I have paid for a massage for him in hopes that will help him so anything anyone wants to donate please know this is where and how it will get spent. Please keep him in your thoughts and thank you to anyone who even just took the time to read his story
