Dear friends, I need your help!

I am in severe distress. My last job ended in February 2024, shortly after my daughter was born. Since then, I’ve been unsuccessful in landing a new role.

I emptied my 401k and used it along with my savings to keep up with the bills, but that money is gone.

On top of it, the financial pressures triggered a severe episode of postpartum depression in my wife last summer, so she lost her job too.

Surprisingly, my mental health is fine, other than the extreme worry that comes with these kinds of situations, but I don’t know what to do. As an immigrant, my support network is tiny and my professional network is even smaller.

My most logical option would be leaving to Spain where my support network is, but I can’t afford to move internationally, so I need your help.

If you can chip in with whatever you can, I will be grateful.

The money will go towards paying due bills, affording rent for a few more months, or moving my family to Spain if I'm not able to get a job in such a short amount of time.
