Hi all - thank you for taking the time to read Travis and Janelle’s story below. Travis and Andy went to college together and through our journeys, we’ve all become close and have the pleasure of having our kids play together as well.

A letter from Travis & Janelle:

Friends, family and loved ones,

Some of you may already know what our family has gone though close to two years now. Unfortunately, we are still needing to fight to prove our innocence and put this all behind us. For those of you that don’t know the full story, feel free to watch the news casts below. These videos are heartbreakingly very close to our story.

We were falsely accused of child abuse and neglect due to our twins having fractures at 5 weeks old. Our children were taken directly from Seattle Children’s Hospital and put in foster care in November 2021 for a 72 hour hold which happened on a weekend so it was 4 days before they returned home. 20 days of not being able to be with them at all and over 8 months of not be alone with any of our children until July 2022 when Department of Child Protective Services dropped their case. For something we DID. NOT. DO.

Dr Feldman (the doctor in the news stories) is also part of our case. CPS still wants to go to trial for neglect. Something that is flat out wrong. This is just a small glimpse of our story.

We first ask for your prayers if you are the praying type. The Lord has been with us and our faith in Him has gotten us through this very hard journey. We are so thankful for the continued prayers. 

Our parents and close family have stood by us through thick and thin, offering their unwavering support both emotionally and financially. The toll this has taken on our family has been nothing short of heart-wrenching. The weight of having to prove our innocence has come at an immense cost.

Should you feel compelled to contribute, your generosity will directly aid in covering our legal and medical expenses. In the event that we find the closure we so desperately seek, any remaining funds will be dedicated to securing the health, well-being, and future needs of our beloved children. Our children are our top priority, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to protect our family.

We are tirelessly dedicated, working multiple jobs to make ends meet. Unfortunately, we have exhausted all available resources, and the duration and expense of this ordeal have taken us by surprise. The cost of justice should not demand financial devastation to a family.
