60km for Men’s Mental Health: Honoring 60 Lives

Donation protected
Every hour, 60 men across the world lose their lives to suicide. That staggering number represents lives lost, families broken, and communities impacted by a silent crisis that often goes unseen and unspoken.

In recognition of Men’s Mental Health Month and to raise awareness of this urgent issue, I ran 60 kilometres, symbolizing the 60 men lost each hour.

My run is not about the distance; it’s a commitment to open up conversations, provide support, and encourage others to check in on the men in their lives who may be struggling in silence. Your support for this run can make a real difference. Any contribution will go directly toward the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation that provides essential mental health resources, counselling, and support services for men in need.

However, beyond financial support, I urge everyone to take a moment to reach out to a friend, family member, or coworker. Sometimes, just asking, “How are you really doing?” can be a lifeline.

Thank you for supporting this effort. Together, we can break down the stigma, raise awareness, and bring hope to those who feel unseen. Let’s make a difference: one conversation, one step, and one life at a time.
