Dear Friends,

My name is Áron Beczásy, and for the past two years, I have been living on this beautiful island with my wife, Beatrix, and our daughter, Léna. From the very beginning, we have strived to be active members of this wonderful community. I work as a baker, and Beatrix repairs torn clothes to extend their life and reduce waste. We have also organized theater workshops and created a performance to enrich the cultural life of Cortes Island.

We would love to continue contributing to the community, but due to constantly changing immigration laws, we must transition from our temporary status to permanent residency as soon as possible. This requires legal assistance, which has placed a significant financial burden on us.

To cover our immigration expenses, we are organizing a fundraiser with a goal of $7,500. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to securing our future here and continuing to be part of this amazing community.
