Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m asking for your help to support a family that means the world to me.
On Monday, September 1st, we suddenly lost Wendy—a magnetic, funny soul who loved with her whole heart. I myself, feel extremely lucky to have known her.
She was a mother, a wife, a friend, and a grandma, leaving behind her husband, three daughters, and four amazing granddaughters: Enya (11), Lilly (9), Jordan (5), and Dinah (2).
Wendy poured herself into everything she did. She stood up for causes she believed in, lived with passion, and loved fiercely—especially her family.
The girls adored their Nana. Each had a special bond with her as she was always planning little adventures, like trips to the library or fun outings that made ordinary days magical. They also depended on her every day for school rides, doctor appointments, and so much of their care. Losing her has left a space in their lives that can never be filled.
This family has already faced a heartbreaking loss before. Joey’s memory lives strong in our hearts, and with this being Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, it feels important not only to support them but also to raise awareness: https://afsp.org.
Funds raised will go directly toward childcare, school expenses, household needs, and other unexpected costs.
If you can’t donate, simply sharing this page would mean so much and help reach others who can.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up for this family when they need it most.
