Assist Thomas Washington jr (Krueger)family in time of loss

My grandson was killed in a senseless crime on Friday by someone who had just been released from jail and was on parole. My family and I are not 100% sure if this person was connected to people being held for a murder and attempted murder case that my grandson was a witness to ( he was not in a gang nor gang related). His life has been cut short and his kids are left without their father. He was an amazing, caring, loving son, father, brother, and grandson! He leaves a set of twins (7) and a one-year-old behind! He won't be there to watch his children grow up, to teach his girls how to be treated, or to teach his son to be a great young man in this world! Every part of life that a child wants and looks forward to with their dad has been taken away. He was a great father who spent a lot of time with his kids (thank God they were not in the car with him at that time).

He would call or text me at least once or twice a week to say, "Hi Granny, just wanted to say I love you." Now I'll never get those messages or calls that made my day! I guess I'll never understand why the good are taken away and the evil continue to live their lives! As it sometimes happens, life is cut short and people are not prepared for it! His mom has a policy, but because it's only been a year, they won't pay! For some ungodly reason, they say you have to have it for two years! I don't understand it. I would think an insurance policy for life should always be honored because no one knows when they will leave this earth, especially at 26 years of age. So now we can't give him a proper service because we don't have the funds to do so. So as a grandmother who loves her grandchildren, I want him to have the service he deserves.....nothing extravagant, just proper.
