Well, it's the holiday season! A time for celebration, family, friends and especially giving....and what could be better than giving back to our community!?!?!? I'm creating this account to help relieve delinquent student lunch debt inside the Avon Lake Public School system. To my surprise, delinquent lunch accounts are a reoccurring problem every school year. There are kids in our schools who are in need. Imagine being denied a lunch, then trying to pay attention to school work with an empty stomach. The feeling of embarrassment or even bullying among peers. Let's get together and alleviate this unfortunate burden on our kids! This isn't a competition to see who donates more than the other! Any little bit will help, and you can always donate anonymously! I will keep the account active until December 31, 2018. Once I know the total amount collected, the funds will be divided EVENLY through the school system. When checks are cut to each school, I will request a receipt and post it on The Truth Facebook page. This way everyone can see where and how much each school receives....and that I'm not pocketing the money. Thank you all in advance! I'm hoping this will be successful and possibly an annual event.
