Lighting Up Main St.

Westport businessmen, Josh Allen and Robert Cornield, are two parents who spent the last 12 plus years raising their families and supporting the community including local schools, and programs like Wakeman Town Farm, Little League Baseball, DARE, Catch A Lift. Both Rob and Josh now turn their eyes to the continued revitalization of Downtown where tremendous progress has been made.Church Lane is buzzing already this summer with hanging baskets, barrels, hanging lights and live music on the weekends for the outdoor dining - they’d love to see this atmosphere flow right into Main Street. Bright lights always bring joy and happiness, so a big step is to light up Main Street with similar hanging lights to Church Lane’s. To support the cost to do this, Josh and Rob are generously offering a dollar for dollar matching grant up to $2500 of their own funds - to raise the project total needed of $5000.
