Hello family, friends, and any supporters!

We are currently facing a very difficult and emotionally intense time as we try to navigate legal and family matters that involve protecting the well-being and safety of our child and family. As a parent, our first priority is our little girl. We want to ensure our little girl and family have stability, privacy, and support through this rough time. 

I (Joshua) have had full residential custody of my daughter since she was two years old due to her mother (Emily) abandoning her since she was an infant. I have provided everything for the child and worked extremely hard to give her the best life possible. Due to an altercation caused by my own mother (Cathy Stansbury), I was recently incarcerated over the holiday weekend, unable to enjoy it with our family. Cathy came into our home unannounced and took the child from our home without permission, pushing both Brianna and I out of the way. My child’s mother, who has no rights to my daughter, came and picked up my daughter from my mother and then filed for emergency custody. Now we are unable to know if my child is okay. Before this incident, my daughter was going over to her mothers every other weekend per court orders and came home with signs of neglect and abuse countless times. We have made multiple reports with endless proof. We are now in an active case with the mother trying to do everything we can to protect my child and bring her home. 

Due to the surprise of having to deal with all of this and having two attorneys, we now have unexpected legal costs, court filings, and family support needs that we need to provide for. All of these expenses are necessary to provide and maintain a safe environment for our little girl and address legal issues. All any of us want is for our family to be complete again and for our family to remain safe and stable.
