Help for JD

This is a story about our friend and his 18-month-old son. The child was born with Agenesis of Corpus Callosum, a congenital condition that in his case is severe, impairing his physical and mental development, impeding his ability to swallow foods and giving him violent seizures, which put his life at risk. 
The family lives in a remote area in the Dominican Republic, deprived of access to quality healthcare. They do take him to the nearest cities to see physicians and receive therapy but only as often as resources permit. 
We feel a deep appreciation for the father, who is a fellow beekeeper, and would like to help ease their pain. The only thing we can do is ask our friends, acquaintances, other beekeepers and patrons to come together and help fund some of the medicine and therapy needed for the baby and that is why we are running this campaign.
