I've been friends with Jo since 1st grade. No matter where we are, we remain sisters in heart. Jo's family was forced to suddenly evacuate Thursday morning from her home in Paradise, California. Her, her husband and her daughter, grabbed a handful of clothes, her daughter's new dipoma and their dog Sugar and headed out. Every hotel was full or wouldn't accept the dog so Jo resolved to sleep in their car, until, thankfully, an unexpected cancellation at a hotel allowed them all to stay for 2 days. Meanwhile their town was eaten by fire. This is a small modest mining town. Hard working people who are not wealthy. Rebuilding will be hard. Slow and painful. Could you spare even $5.00 to help them find a place to live in the interim? The house they lived in was rented so there's no insurance to be had.
