Hi, my name is Millie and I am raising money for my dad, Steve. He has been struck down with cancer at the beginning of 2025 but has shown nothing but courage and fight despite multiple hospital trips and ICU admissions. It’s been tough but is still catering to any hairdressing clients he has and refuses to do any less. My mum is a full time teacher and having to also be his full time carer, taxi driver and hero. As a special surprise I would love to put any money raised towards funding for cancer research and the science behind treatments.

I won’t be just sitting around waiting for the funds, from January - June next year I will be doing a mile a day until his birthday to keep the momentum going and give as much as I can to a great cause.

Update January 2026:

As of now the cancer has unfortunately spread to his brain and treatment for this has been tried but due to no positive changes has been halted with a look towards making life as comfortable as possible. He has continued to show such resilience and keeps himself going, as he says "if there is a fight to have then I'll put my gloves on" just with a few more naps between now!
