'Teamwork Makes The Dream Work'

On 5th January 2023, my dad Rocky showed signs of a stroke, My stepmom his wife took him straight to the urgencies in Malaga Spain to get him checked over. After various tests

the doctor decided to call an ambulance straight away to get him to another hospital as tests showed he had a possible clot in his neck. After spending 2 nights in emergency monitoring he was put into a room to rest before further testing on monday morning. His wife was with him until after midnight on Saturday night. On Sunday morning sometime after 9am he suffered another stroke this time an ischemic stroke leaving him without speech and paralysed on his right side.

My dad and his amazing wife run a business in spain and have three children, 11, 9 and 6 years who are all incredible. My dad being the bruce willis/ stylvestor stallon type of tough guy who you would see in movies, not only funny, amazing and a massive family man is also the main bread winner of the family and climbs trees like tarzan in the hot sun to give his wife and all his kids the best life he possibly can. ANYONE who knows my dad knows he has a heart of gold and has always helped others when in need, and has the best sense of humour going.

As you can imagine this has put us all in worry for his health but also worry about their family income and as my dad is the businesses main climer... The business will still keep running but things have to be adjusted for the time being and funds need to be made to ensure everything runs smoothly for when my dad returns home.

He has now been in recovery for 5 days and is currently undergoing physio to help him regain some mobility on his right side. But we will not kwno if he will ever recover completely. But we have every faith in him.

OnThis GoFundMe page is to help my dad , his wife and his 3 young children with outgoings, including rent and bills,petrol costs to and from the hospital which is 45 minutes away but to mainly help support them with my dads recovery, physically and cognitively. My dads goal is to get back up and live a long and happy life with his family.

This is a massive life event that has affected all 5 of them and turned their world upside down. We want to make sure that all of them are well supported, financially and emotionally. We know how strong they are and that the sky is the limit for my dads recovery, and all our love is with them. Their family and business moto is “Team work makes the dream work”. Thank you so much!
