Baby Anibal was born on July 10, 2019 with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. (HLHS) is a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart.


In the first open heart surgery Hannibal had complications with the arrhythmia that led him to have a passing mark; He also had complications with the lymphatic system and had to stay more than a month in the hospital in ICU, tubing in the chest and oxygenation by mouth since the chylothorax (lymphatic) fluid accumulates around his lungs and prevented him from breathing. For this complication he had another surgery on August 12, 2019 on the right side of the chest to be able to close the openings of the lymphatic duct, but unfortunately it did not work. Chylothorax (lymphatic fluid) increased dramatically that put your life at risk again.

On August 23, he had a catheterization to study the pressures of the heart and find the reason why he continued to drain so much fluid; And they didn't find an answer either.

After three months of struggle, prayers and suffering, Anibal left with our heavenly Father. Although his absence tears us and our hearts are broken, we know that he is no longer suffering and is at peace. Now we have a little angel who takes care of us from heaven.

This happened suddenly, it was not something expected since Hannibal deteriorated overnight. A day before I was stable with plans for a heart transplant and the next day they give us the news that Hannibal has days to live and he left the next. Our financial situation was too affected because we could not work 100% so I humbly ask for your support to be able to give my baby a funeral.

Some friends, clients and acquaintances of Marbella, Anibal's mother, have met even from a distance to create bells or mechanisms that allow us to support her in different ways according to the will of those who know the history of Anibal. Bebé Aníbal nació el 10 de Julio del 2019 con el síndrome del corazón izquierdo hipoplásico. (HLHS) es un defecto de nacimiento que afecta el flujo sanguíneo normal a través del corazón. 


En la primera cirugía de corazón abierto  Aníbal tuvo complicaciones con la arritmia que lo llevó a tener un marca paso; También tuvo complicaciones con el sistema linfático y tuvo que permanecer más de un mes en el hospital en ICU, entubado en el pecho y oxigenación por la boca ya que el líquido quilotórax (linfático) se acumula alrededor de sus pulmones y le evitaba respirar. Por esta complicación tuvo otra cirugía el 12 de agosto del 2019 al lado derecho  del pecho para poder cerrar las aberturas del conducto linfático, pero desafortunadamente no funcionó. El quilotórax (líquido linfático) a aumento drásticamente que puso en riesgo su vida nuevamente. 

El 23 de agosto le hicieron una cateterización para estudiar las presiones del corazón y encontrar la razón por la cual siguió drenando tanto líquido; y tampoco encontraron una respuesta.

Después de tres meses de lucha, oraciones y sufrimiento, Anibal partió con nuestro Padre celestial. Aunque nos desgarra su ausencia y nuestro corazón está quebrantado, sabemos que el ya no está sufriendo y está en paz. Ahora tenemos un angelito que nos cuida desde el cielo.

Esto pasó de manera repentina, no era algo esperado ya que Aníbal se deterioró de un día para el otro. Un día antes estaba estable con planes para un trasplante de corazón y al otro día nos dan la noticia que Aníbal tiene días de vida y el se fue al siguiente. Nuestra situación financiera se vio demasiado afectada porque no podíamos trabajar 100% por ello humildemente les pido de su apoyo para poder brindarle un sepelio a mi bebé.
