Hello all family, friends, and parents!
As some of you may know, I have my heart set on going to South Africa this summer for a volunteer trip. I have actually wanted to do this trip since I was in high school but only until recent circumstances and changes have I decided to finally pursue this. Throughout the years I have done donations, fundraisers, and volunteer work but I wanted something that made an impact on individual lives and I wanted to be a part of that change so I decided this was what I wanted to experience. The program is run by International Volunteer HQ and the location I want to be placed is in Cape Town. I chose to volunteer in the orphanages, caring for infants and toddlers who grew up in broken homes and underprivileged backgrounds. Some of these kids has lost their parents to HIV/AIDS, crime, or alcohol and drug abuse. My duties will include but may not be limited to feeding, teaching, cooking and caring for the little ones. I am hoping this will add to the growth of my character and will also be a truly humbling experience.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated but do not feel obligated to donate :)

I would love to be able to get the program costs met and whatever that isn't met plus the flights, I would of course cover with my babysitting fund.
