My mom ❤️

Hi, my name is Marla I am trying to raise money for my mom for her to be able to live the days she has left to live comfortably with minimal pain and sickness and that can only be done is a nursing home. My mom on oct 31 went to er feeling like she couldn’t breath unfortunately that was just the beginning of bad news I was going to receive. They had to drain of if her lungs and after testing it it came back positive for cancer. They also found cancer in her shoulder, liver breast and the cancer in her lungs are so big that they make the other lung call collapse. We learned her breast cancer she had three years ago returned and became a triple negative. There’s no good treatment that would work well so the doctor gave her with in 6 months of life left. my mom decided to do at home hospice and I would take care of her. I was more then happy to do special things with her. Make new memories thinking I had a few months. My mom came with me on Wednesday and become very Sick Friday night. By Monday she had to go to the hospice hospital due to pain and not being able to keep any thing down for 36 hours. I’ve never seen her so sick in my life and non of the meds hospice gave her would work. Watching and listening to your mom cry and beg to die is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced in life it’s an image that I can’t get over. Knowing that my 4 kids could hear these cries broke me. She’s been in the hospital since Monday but can only stay a short time due to insurance and Medicare won’t pay for nursing home. And Medicaid won’t accept her right away so I have to pay around 10000 a month for her to be in a nursing home. I’ve sold her car and my own to barely make first month. I wish I could bring her home but it’s not safe because I can’t always be home. She’s on a lot of nausea and pain meds barely can put sentences together let along use the bathroom alone. For anyone that can help I appreciate you more then you’ll ever know. I also ask make sure you appreciate the time you have with your parents it can be gone tomorrow.
