Hi, my name is Allegra and I am raising money for a project organised by my school to help underprivileged children in India. I am doing a lot of fundraising events, discos and a sponsored walk to raise money and all the money I raise goes towards the children (and not my trip).

In April, I will be going to India with a team of other students, to use the money that you donate in a number of small creches and extremely disadvantaged families in rural communities in Tamilnadu in south India. I will be working with small children aged 3-5 in three local crèches and your money will go directly to providing them with nutritious food, healthcare and education in a safe and caring environment for the whole year. These creches were set up to create the opportunity for their parents to work as labourers and support the family as well as an opportunity for children to thrive.

Each donation is much appreciated and there is no such thing as too little! All donations will be gratefully received and put to good use. Thank you for reading and I will share some photos with you after I have been to India showing how your money has benefited these children!
