Hi, my name is Esther Hall and I am in Year 13 at Beacon Academy.

In December 2025, myself and 50 other students and teachers will be heading to The Gambia. I was fortunate enough to go on this trip last year, and could see the impact which we were able to make on many people. We are working alongside Self Help Africa to help villages, medical centres and schools across this developing country. All money raised will go to chosen projects through United Purpose's work in The Gambia. In previous years, money raised has gone to hospitals, water tanks, classrooms, nurseries and so much more, making a huge difference for many people in several villages across the country.
