Help Support Angel’s Recovery

On July 30th, just six days before his 24th birthday, my little cousin “nephew” Angel was in a devastating car accident that forever changed his life. The crash left him with a severe spinal cord injury — he currently has no feeling below his chest and only limited use of his hands.

Angel recently underwent an extensive surgery to repair damage to his cervical spine. Right now, we’re in a critical waiting period as doctors monitor swelling to determine the extent of his long-term mobility and function.

What we do know is that the journey ahead will be incredibly tough — physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Once Angel is stable enough to leave the hospital, he will likely be transferred to a rehabilitation center in Hershey, where he’ll begin the next phase of his recovery. This will involve intense therapy, adaptive training, and long-term care planning.

We’re asking for your help to support Angel and his family during this difficult time.

• Home modifications to accommodate a wheelchair
