A week and a half ago, Lylah suddenly got sick. I noticed her face first. Her pink tint turned kinda dark, and I couldn't see her bottom lip. We took her to the vet right away. to get meds,was told to watch her, and bring her back on Dec 2nd. I thought she was getting better; she was playing and running around, and then suddenly she was down, sleeping for hours on end. Yesterday, I saw her shake for the first time and pant. I prayed the 2nd would come around faster because I just can't afford emergency care. Today, I woke up to her and me sleeping in her pool of blood. I had a full-blown panic attack and rushed her to the ER. It was confirmed she had pyometra. There was no question; yes, get her into surgery. I will find a way. I used everything I had saved up. Everything. i was not expecting it to be so much. but it had to be done. She just got home from the ER. They had taken a photo of it, and it was like a big tube that should have been the size of a finger. They were surprised she survived this long. Now I'm asking if I can get some help? I understand times are hard. Any bit will help. Thank you.
