As some people already know, our mum, Julia Rayner, was the victim of the serious attack in Goole centre on Wednesday 3rd April. As she left work, she was followed to her car before being attacked with an axe. She was left in critical condition with a severely fractured skull and life changing injuries to her arms. She’s been through multiple surgeries and has recently come back round from her coma. The attacker's identity has been released by the police, but we knew this man for 7 years as our 'stepdad', until two years ago when our mum separated from him. Our family have decided to start a go fund me for our mum, to help fund whatever her dream may be - when she has recovered, although this is a long road to recovery.
