I’ve set up this page for my son, Amitav Prakash, who is proudly participating in the Young Leaders in Cricket programme. As part of his journey, Amitav is raising funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), a charity dedicated to saving young lives from undiagnosed heart conditions.

Every donation, big or small, will help make a real difference.

Why CRY Matters

In the UK, at least 12 young people aged 35 and under die each week from undetected cardiac conditions. Many of these tragedies could be prevented through early screening and intervention. CRY was founded in 1995 to tackle this urgent issue by:

- Raising awareness of cardiac risk in young people

- Offering free cardiac screening to young individuals

- Supporting families affected by sudden cardiac death

- Funding vital medical research
