Benat Broderick, Age 18 is among 1,400 living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in Ireland and is a Cystic Fibrosis Ireland Patient Ambassador.

Benat has chosen to raise much needed and vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland in support of 65 Roses Day this year, which takes place on April 8th

Benat says; “I have cystic fibrosis which is a genetically inherited disease that primarily affects the lungs and the digestive system. Ireland has the highest incidence of cystic fibrosis in the world with approx 1 in 19 Irish people said to 'carry' one copy of the altered gene that causes cystic fibrosis.

I would like to share my support ahead of 65 Roses Day this year and I have created this fundraiser for family, friends and beyond who would like to help in raising much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland who are a charity not financially supported by the government but who provide services needed for CF patients and beyond."

CF Ireland provide; Funding towards new Cystic Fibrosis units around the country, including dedicated in-patient, day care and out-patient facilities.

Funding for medical and scientific research aimed at understanding, managing and treating Cystic Fibrosis

Funding for specialist Cystic Fibrosis multidisciplinary posts in hospitals throughout Ireland.

And many more grants helping CF patients all thanks to your donations!

Your support will be very much appreciated.
