*Mam Tor Fundraiser*

Myself (ben) My Eldest Son (Jack) & My fellow teammates from SUFC-SY will be taking on a sponsored walk up Mam Tor on 28th February 2026 to raise funds for two charities that mean a great deal to us — Sands and Sands United South Yorkshire, the team I proudly play for.

This cause is incredibly personal to me. Last year, we lost our beautiful daughter, Elsie. The support and community around Sands and Sands United South Yorkshire have meant so much to us during the most difficult time of our lives.

Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, offering understanding, care and a community when it’s needed most. Sands United South Yorkshire brings men together through football, providing support and solidarity for fathers and families who have experienced baby loss.

Walking Mam Tor together is our way of remembering Elsie, raising awareness, and giving back to a community that continues to support families like ours.
