Hi, my name is Elaine. I've never done anything like this before and i'm somewhat embarrassed to be asking for help, but I've exhausted all other avenues....... Basically my beautiful fur baby was run over this morning by someone who didn't even have the decency to stop. He was wearing a collar with our details, so really no excuse. He somehow managed to crawl his way to the back gate where we found him. Took him straight to the vet, who were brilliant. He's got a broken hip, tibia and femur. I was initially relieved to know he could be treated, HOWEVER the cost of treatment runs into well over £8000, which I simply cannot afford. I have pet insurance, but that has been used up already today. I've tried various other avenues like the rspca, but I cannot get any help, so this is my last resort. I know to some people he's just a cat, but he's part of my family and still so young. I'm absolutely heartbroken at having to have him put down, so please from the bottom of my heart, if anyone is able and willing to help me bring him home, I'd be eternally grateful.
