Cycle Against Suicide
Hi
I started cycling with Phoenix Cycling Club in 1981.
Over those 40 years I've enjoyed meeting thousands of amazing and generous people and helping some of them to get the best from themselves. Unfortunately many of us have been affected by mental health problems and some are no longer with us.
In this Tokyo Olympic year I've decided to get back into some training and have entered Cycle Against Suicide’s Mizen to Malin Challenge. I'll be joining some some great and old friends (all of us Olympians from Seoul in 1988) and we plan to spend 6 days riding from Ireland's southern to northern point along the Atlantic coast, around 120km each day.
It would mean so much to me if you go across the page, click and donate now to support me in fundraising for this amazing charity. Funds raised will go to their evidence based schools education and support package – Ireland is ranked 4th highest in teen suicide.
If you’re not in a position to help at this time, make sure to spend some time outside in the fresh air. Even better, smile and say something nice to the next person you see any time you think of me.
Everything helps and donations are gratefully received.
Many thanks
Cormac
