My video shares the story of my experience with Paul, a homeless man taking shelter under a building awning on Sunday night as I returned to my car from work. We were inside a severe snowstorm, and as I watched Paul lay down on the ice-cold cement and curl up, I got out of my car and approached him to learn his name and story. From there, I went to the store to buy some gloves and other items that could give him some coverage for the long night ahead of him. I remain deeply affected by my interaction with Paul and the seriousness of this issue in our community. Now I want to help others in Anchorage who need warmth and protection from these harsh days.

This fundraiser is a 72-hour donation blast so that I can turn around and quickly give things to people living on the streets who need help. I will keep you updated on my efforts so you know how your money is being used.
