Hi, my name is Brandon Molitor. I am a proud veteran who served as an infantry soldier with the US Army. I own and operate a small residential construction firm, Professional Home Solutions, LLC (PHS), servicing the DC Metro Area, including MD & VA. We are best known for remodeling portions of homes (Ex. kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, roofing, plumbing, electrical, hvac work, exteriors, etc.), entire homes, building additions, and other small to large-scale residential home improvement projects. We are rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and top-rated through Angie's List - with 3 years of consecutive Super Service Awards.
Over the past few months, I’ve been inspired more than ever to seek ways that we can make a positive difference. In the spirit of giving, and looking within to see what we can do to give back to the community that has supported our business, we came up with an idea; We’d like to help other veterans, the elderly, and those in need in our community by providing them with significantly discounted and/or free repair services. We often get calls to replace hot water heaters/boilers/hvac units, repair damaged roofs, or help remodel part of a home to accommodate a disability. Many are unaware of the actual costs – labor and materials – to make these home repairs. The average home repair is thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, many clients do not have enough funds to have these works completed. How do you leave an elderly couple without heat in the middle of winter? How do you allow a disabled veteran to have limited mobility in his own home? Over the years, we have done what we can using our own money and time to aid whenever possible. As partners of the DC SEU low-income housing projects program, we completed our assigned work, but also saw to many other needed repairs with all costs covered by PHS. We continue to help our clients in any way that we can, but we realized there is a greater need than we, alone, can support. We’re hoping that through a grassroots effort with you, we can help more people than ever!
We whole-heartedly believe that a small business can make a big impact in the community it serves. "Treating people right and being honest will never do you wrong", is a motto I live by personally and professionally. If you are looking for a concrete way (pun intended) to give back and make a direct and meaningful impact in the DC community, please consider a contribution to this campaign. No gift is too small (or too big!). We intend to raise funds through the end of March and will then begin to identify clients through local community organizations. The impact we can make will be determined by the total funds raised and the individual scope of each project. If we meet our goal, we will be able to service approximately 50 households with these critical repairs and improvements!
Types of work to be accomplished: Handicap accessibility, wheelchair ramps, ADA toilets and sinks, grab bars, widening doorways, heating/cooling needs, roof repair, entry/stair repairs, emergency plumbing and electrical repairs, and more. (I.e. things people truly need, rather than cosmetic wants or desires).
We sincerely appreciate your contribution and ask that you please spread the word to others interested in making a difference!
