Milo's Road to Recovery
Donation protected

Milo needs our help. He battles every day with a very rare genetic condition. Milo has a mutation in the SCN8A gene that causes epilepsy and developmental delays. In November 2020, he suffered a severe brain injury because of this disorder. A cluster of seizures led to cardiac arrest and now Milo medically qualifies for the cerebral palsy program. His parents, Juan and Gaelle, were by his side in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for weeks. They know Milo's strong and fighting spirit and they are desperate to give him the treatment he needs and deserves. Gaelle says, "The next few months are critical to Milo’s best chance for recovery, so we hope that he will have adequate access to therapy during this time."
Milo's mom and dad are passionate and generous supporters of The Cute Syndrome Foundation. They have selflessly donated to this foundation in order to help fund research and new treatments. Now they need support. They need to remain by Milo's side, focus on his recovery and advocate for necessary treatments and medical equipment without the stress of how to pay for it. As friends and neighbors of Milo and his family, we ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and consider making a donation to support Milo on his long road to recovery.
With hopeful hearts,
Team Milo
