Hi my name is Jake and I have a beautiful 12 year chocolate Labrador called Sparky! He’s the most amazing boy and is full of life, he’s been with me since he was 8 weeks old. He's my whole life and we do everything together!

I’ve had insurance for him over the last 12 years and still have! Also never claimed until this year, but, now they say I've hit the limit for the policy year, so they won’t pay anymore vet bills until November when it renews...

Sparky went through chemotherapy at the start of the year and beat cancer! What a legend! which used up my insurance limit for the policy year.

Unfortunately, he’s needed more lumps removed in August, but is still cancer free and now he’s just gone and eaten some BBQ coal briskets and has needed emergency surgery and a bowel resection with ongoing hospitalisation while he recovers that's costing me about $25,000 and insurance won’t pay anything.

He may need more surgery depending on how his recovery goes, but, fingers crossed, he doesn't.

I’m desperately needing your help…I don't have children so he’s my whole life and I'm his. He's a strong boy and has many more years to live…any donation will help
