Support Trang Nguyen's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Jonathan Doan, and I am setting up this GoFundMe for my mother, Trang Nguyen, who very recently suffered from a stroke.
On May 31st, 2022, my mother came home from work complaining about a significant headache. As her pain worsened, she began throwing up, was rushed to the hospital, and lost consciousness upon arrival. She was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage and multiple strokes in other locations within the brain. A craniectomy and embolization of an aneurysm were performed to decrease the pressure in her head and stop the bleeding.
Although her vitals are stable and there are subtle signs of improvement, as of now, she is still in a coma.
For countless years, my parents have solely supported a house of seven. However, without our mother, money has become tighter than ever. We have been told by doctors that the recovery process, which may include additional surgeries and therapy, will be long and expensive, so we must be financially prepared. As such, we have set up this GoFundMe in hopes of getting our Mom the best care possible
My mother has been a staff member of the Mariners Christian School (MCS) since 2014. She came to work every day with a smile and the goal to provide exceptional service for the students and staff. As an accountant, she spoke with every parent charismatically and was friendly in all aspects. Among the other staff members, she was loved as if she was family and of course, reciprocated that love back, ten-fold. Every student that came to her was treated as if they were her own son or daughter. Every day when she came home, she would always tell us how her day went, whether that be funny moments with her coworkers or the silly stories the kids would tell her , and she did so happily. I could tell that she loved being at MCS; she said it was a job she could do for the rest of her life and never grow tired of it.
Funds in this campaign will go strictly to our mother’s recovery, and any contributions would be greatly appreciated. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you all for any help you can offer.
