5th Mansfield Squirrels will be doing a sponsored Ramble around Pleasley Pit on Sunday 29th March. To raise money for some urgent repairs that are needed at our Scout hut on Devon Drive in Mansfield.

We are very lucky to have our own hut, but with this comes rising costs to keep it maintained and safe for our young people to use on a weekly basis.

We do our best to keep our subs down so it's affordable to everyone in the local area. Meaning after insurance, memberships and providing the fun activities we do there isn't much left in the pot for HQ repairs.

We desperately need the floor repairing and this is due to cost around £5,000 alone.

So 5th Mansfield Squirrels are planning a Ramble come rain or shine. We are aiming for 2 laps of the circular route. But as we have never done this before we will just give it our best shot.

Or squirrels are aged between 4 and 6 years.
