Unfortunately during the evening of Friday, September 27th our West Union Rec Center was vandalized.  Someone destroyed our path lights and our electrical stations that we use to be able to decorate for our Festival of Lights.  With these being vandalized we will be unable to do that.  Unfortunately, insurance does not cover vandalism.  We are looking to our community members for help so that we do not have to disappoint the children and all of the members of our community who so enjoy our Festival of Lights.  We will be getting estimates for total cost, so we are unsure at this time but will update later when we have the estimates.  Any monies left over after replacing the things that need to be fixed immediately will be going towards placing security cameras throughout our park.  We thank you for any donation you are able to give.
