This Christmas, our anti-racist community group is coming together with a simple but powerful wish: to bring a little light into the lives of children living in refugee hotels. Many of these young people have fled conflict, instability, or danger- leaving behind their homes, friends, and familiar traditions. For them, the holiday season can feel especially heavy.

We want to help change that.

We want them to feel joy.

We want them to feel welcome.

We want them to know that people care.

Through this fundraiser, we hope to provide Christmas presents- small treasures like toys, books, cozy items, and creative gifts that remind children that they are seen, valued, and deserving of happiness. A single present may seem like a small gesture, but for a child who’s had to start again in a strange place, it can mean the world.
